Built-in Dresser in Douglas Fir

I’ve been heavily involved in renovating my house for the past few years.  When I had the opportunity to move to a more rural setting (with a MUCH bigger shop), I was motivated to put a lot of energy into finishing many of the renovation projects.  The most visible among these was a built in dresser in one of the bedrooms.  Previously, this room had been used as a laundry room.  The washer and drier occupied what had been the closet, and a previous owner framed in a new closet on another wall.  rather than rip out the new closet and rehab the one that had been used for laundry, I designed and built this large dresser unit.
